People who sold their SaaS what was your MRR and what price you sold it?

I am a little bit curious at what price you sold your saas and what was your monthly profit that time.

Generally, SaaS get sold at 2.5X-3X of the ARR. This also depends on

    1. The strategic need for the buyer.
    2. The future potential of the SAAS - is it a lifestyle saas or high growing saas
    3. The MOM/YOY Growth, churn rates.
    4. The monthly profitability/burn.

You can negotiate a much higher multiple based on these 4 factors. Cheers!

I sold my social media management app Pluggio (no longer live) for $100k at $3.75k/MRR.

I can recommend https://microangel.so/ whose Substack contains a lot of knowledge and know-how to negotiate and evaluate the price of an existing SAAS business.

Some of the articles are behin a paywall but most aren't. The free articles are worth their weight in gold IMHO.

I really like the strategy he is using. It's a long-term investment but returns are absolutely worth it if everything goes according to plan.

You can check microns.io to understand the asking prices for micro-saas.

For example, there are a few startups with 1-2 multipliers and higher.
