PersonaIQ is live on Product Hunt today — AI personas that test your site and tell you where users get stuck

Hey IH — launching PersonaIQ on Product Hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/products/personaiq?launch=personaiq

Quick background for those who haven't seen earlier posts: I'm a solo dev running a few small apps (CodeDecipher, this one, a couple others). Kept hitting the same problem across all of them — shipped something, conversions were lower than expected, no idea why. Real user testing is $500+ and takes a week to organize. Didn't have either.

PersonaIQ runs AI personas through your actual site (Playwright + Claude's vision API), and gives you a friction report: where each persona got stuck, their reasoning at each step, screenshots, a friction score per step. One-time purchase ($49/$89/$149), not a subscription — built this way on purpose since I wanted it priced for agencies who'd resell reports to clients, not just a recurring SaaS tax.

For today's launch, I ran a real test against my own app, CodeDecipher (not a staged demo) — every single persona hit a login wall trying to reach checkout. Found that because of this tool, not despite it.

35% off today with code PH35 if you want to try it on your own product. Free sample report if you just want to see the output first. Just ask!

Would love feedback from this community especially — what's missing, what's confusing, what would make this actually useful for your stack. That's worth more to me today than upvotes.

The strongest part of this isn’t the personas—it’s that the system produces actionable failure discovery without needing real traffic. Most testing tools stop at “simulate behavior,” but the real value here is turning simulation into structured friction diagnosis that actually surfaces conversion blockers you wouldn’t hit until scale. Finding a login wall before users do is exactly the kind of failure mode this category should be optimized for.
