Hey IndieHackers,
I'm one of those people who forgets to follow up with people. I'm thinking of using a very simple personal CRM that reminds me to contact someone and shows the history of contact sI had with that person.
No automated emails, no team setups, no email flow - just the basics. Any suggestions?

Also the good one, my friend is using it.
I had the same issue and about a year ago I decided to make my own CRM. A simple way to keep track of contacts, deals, communication and follow-ups. No enterprise stuff. Just a CRM that's actually nice to use. You can check it out here: https://wobaka.com.
Do you have mobile apps for this CRM?
Looks good!
Thanks! Let me know if you have any questions!
I also might be launching a personal plan soon. If you're interested you can send me an email on fredrik at wobaka dot com.
Hey Rick, https://nurtureapp.co.uk/android is an automated personal CRM - so it detects WhatsApp, Messenger, etc and reminds you to reach out only if you haven't done so.
Would be cool if you'd like to checkout :) Thanks!
Heyyyy. I know one solution for it - https://ordemio.com
I am currently using the new personal CRM Nection and I am very happy with it as it is mobile-oriented.
Check it here: https://nection.io
I feel like the main things that are most important about an app that helps you be a better friend or professional relation to someone, are the following:
It's hard to find a good one, so I'm building one: Friendtime.co
6 months late, but maybe you want to try my IH project:

Feedback is welcome @RickVanHaasteren
Nice! I’ll give it a try
I've started using Fabriq (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/fabriq-stay-in-touch/id1460143202) recently. The design is gorgeous.
I came across Dex recently. Can't vouch for it because I haven't used it but I've been searching for something similar and lightweight for a long time.
Hey Rick! I'm hoping to find a few early testers for https://queue.community, which is meant to help with exactly what you've described. Let me know if you'd be interested in checking it out!
Thanks, I signed up!
I've used Salesflare.com for this for several years now. It has evolved a lot since I started and it's very convenient and automated. I would highly recommend it for this purpose however if you use Gmail I also believe you could possibly use a combination of Google Contacts and Google Assistant (or maybe even Google Tasks) to accomplish much of this for free and possibly have decent voice control. It comes down to how you want the reminders to work really.
I strongly recommend LEADer!
The newest & modern CRM App that dramatically improved my business performance and helped me manage my leads & customers - in a click.
I know that it's FREE for a limited time.

You can try free trial of close.com.
It's definitely more than you ask. But they had startup founders doing sales in mind too.
You can definitely use the free tier of HubSpot CRM for person purpose. @RickVanHaasteren
Check out Covve! It has exactly what you looking for, plus the best business card scanner out there https://apps.apple.com/us/app/covve-intelligent-address-book/id958935377 . That's what I'm using anyway.
I haven't used it before, but I know of https://followup.cc.
As an aside, you should consider an email tracking extension so you know when your emails are opened. I created https://mailpanion.com to solve this issue, and it's completely free.
Thanks!
Sounds legit!
