personal name vs brand (general) name for personal blog?

Hello guys, first post for me here :)
I am going to do a tech blog that will has some technical stuff from my experience, like:
wordpress
magento
speed optimization
linux administration
web hosting panels ( whm/cpanel - plesk - cyber panel )
web application security
some freelance advising
and others from what I can't remember now.

now I have 2 problems
1- should I name the blog with my personal name, like:
Shreef [.] net
ShreefEntsar [.] com
or general name like
CODEENGINES [.] COM
QUICKNOTE [.] NET
BLACKSTARS [.] NET
or any other general name which I can find? ( I already own the mentioned names )

2- if the content is worthy, after how many article should I wait for organic visits?
I really don't care about money for now, even I will not insert ads for first year or so, but I really care about visits, reactions and comments.
