PhotoCopyThis is available on the app store

After a few weeks of work, the first version of PhotoCopyThis is live on the app store. I'd love to get feedback from other people. I know there are a lot of "scanner" app out there, but PhotoCopyThis is not designed to be a document scanning app. I find I need a way to get text from an image in a more efficient manner - other scanner app scans the whole document, or ask you to use a more time-consuming way to "select" text to copy. PhotoCopyThis identify the text from the photo to save the user time.

It is for people to copy short text from an image, for example

• copy wifi password at a coffee shop
• copy phone number or email from a business card
• open the URL from a DMV license renew notice

other feature ideas

• copy and open a link for you
• copy an call the phone number for you
• create more siri shortcuts to integrate with the app
