Hi guys,
I just finished our pitch-deck for seed round. We're seeking $700k for 18 months.
Looking for feedback.
It looks solid to me. I would move the traction slide way earlier in the deck and then follow up with, let's look at why people are trusting us with that traction... and add the rest of the slides. Also 700K is really less if you are going to VCs. I would ask for at least 2M.
Thanks!
Moved the traction slide in a better position.
If we need only 700k because we're from Ukraine and dev is not so expensive, so still should we ask for 2M?
I agree that you should take more money than you think you need but keep in mind that you are selling equity. If you raise less, assuming the valuations are the same, you will have more equity to give up in the next round, or more money for you when you exit.
I think you should avoid using implemented, not implemented & almost implemented parts in the deck. Instead, divide the product into phases so that way it's easy for investors to get an understanding of your product development & roadmap. Other than that everything else looks good overall.
Agreed! Something like "In the pipeline" or "Coming soon" might also read more positively.
Could even reuse the content from the barriers slide and order according to feature status (done, WIP, coming soon).
Thanks!
Fixed that. Looks much better.
Thanks!
Great idea. Fixed that :)
I agree with what others said about feature-matrix slide. You might want to expand on why users decided to pay as a way to quantify value you’re offering. Good luck! :)
Hello Mark! First, I wanted to say that I read your story on Medium. I enjoyed it. Your story motivated me to move ahead. Thanks!
As for your deck. In general, I did not find any information about CAC and LTV. It would be helpful to highlight your advantage.
I think it's good! I did go for and get investment before about 5 years ago so will try to remember the experience. Two main thoughts that came to mind that might be helpful.
Why are you down at $8k now when up at $10k in Jan. That's a red flag to me (Thinking as investor). I want to see constant upward growth. So is there any way possible to get yourself to $11k :D. Sounds a stupid question but good to ask still.
I think the actual concept is great, just talking to my friend about this that we so often feel this issue. BUT I think challenge is making it 'cool' or acceptable to use an app to find a friend. The quiz stuff in bumble I just always find very cheesy and forced. If you were going do quizzes or questions etc. I'd prob think of doing it an alternative genuinely funny way like say 'cards against humanity' game style. Innappropriate or ridiculous questions.
Not 'What is your favourite dog?' but 'If you had to have a pack of 5 dogs to look after today, which breeds would you choose?'. or 'Which dog would you choose if stuck on a desert island?' 😂
Thanks mate,
Great advice. I'll work on them.
BTW what do you think should I add a market size?
Yeah I mean I did in mine. I'd prob go with a TAM (Total addressable market). When I did I used Facebook Ads audiences as one way. Can show that for example there's like 100m interested in things your audience profile has. Or maybe get data on how big bumble is and how many use it's friends part. To get some good numbers on who already shown interest.
Numbers are a bit confusing. Better to use comma's perhaps.
Fixed mate, thanks
I really like your pitch deck! However, I do not get quite useful information out of the competition benchmark slide. I‘d go for a comparison of benefits from a customer point of view, not on a feature base. Steve Barsh gave this useful tip: https://youtu.be/AD5hVVBt_OM
All the best for your venture!😊
Hi Guys, i am new here so cannot post but i also need feedback and suggestions on my pitch deck so posting here.

I'm a big fan of Kawasaki's 10 Slide pitch deck format (https://guykawasaki.com/the-only-10-slides-you-need-in-your-pitch/) and reviewing that, then your own deck again, might be helpful
I suppose you ought to keep away from the usage of applied, now no longer applied & nearly applied elements withinside the deck. Instead, divide the product into stages in order that manner it is smooth for traders to get an information of your product development & roadmap. Other than that the whole thing else seems excellent overall.
Thanks mate for the feedback.
Fixed titles in the deck to make it more readable.
Pretty nice, was not really clear to me what are your current revenues. It's shown on a slide, but not easy to grasp IMHO. Should stand out clearly
And why is the team a wining team? You could emphasis this too.
Good luck 💪
Added my feedback and a some updates here -> https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1Y1f3xvPTo4t-ilYYELxzNrnDWMgj4xtWKVwnuIpUD64/edit#slide=id.g102343bbf5b_7_54
Well done on the progress so far. Good luck with the fundraising effort!
Agree with @ivtxtx on moving the traction slide forward.
Some great general advice here:
https://guykawasaki.com/the-only-10-slides-you-need-in-your-pitch/
Some nitpicking:
From the deck:
I’m partial to using "," or " " instead of "." when representing making large numbers more readable. E.g. $26 000 or $26,000, as opposed to $26.000.
Use co-founder or cofounder, in place of CoFounder.
Thanks mate!
Fixed readability in numbers.
Now looks better :)
