We actually support push notifications, texts, and phone calls but over 70% of our userbase mainly uses us for the phone calls (it's very hard to ignore a phone call 🚀)
That is super interesting about how users prefer phone calls. I would never have guessed that but I guess this is why people say 'ship early and often.' Don't let your own theories guide product development... Ship early and let the customers tell you what they want. Interesting!

Good question... though it's longer and less fluid, I do kind of like seeing "case study" bc it gives me a better idea of what to expect. If I want to learn marketing, I can immediately imagine that a series of case studies would do the trick, whereas a series of "emails" doesn't really give me that idea.

Curious what kind of devs buy boilerplates? Are they JR people?
I've bought themes for landing pages and admin templates from themeforest, but the admin templates always seem bloated. Haven't bought one in about 3 years though.
Can be any level of people, but mainly founders with an idea who don't want to spend a month or so writing all the common functionality. This isn't just an admin template, but has user management/authentication, subscription processing, a development VM, Ansible deploy code, etc. None of that is unique business value, so why spend time working on it instead of writing the code that makes your app uniquely valuable?

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I'm still working on that. I haven't launched yet, so I have email addresses of interested parties, but no actual customers to survey.
That said, I'm not really targeting people by development experience, it's more about business experience/interest. Solo/duo founders who could write this code, they just don't want to.

I'm curious what tech stack you have in mind for it.
Node/Express for the backend, Vue for the frontend. Express and Vue are lightweight and easy to get rolling with. Full JavaScript lets you share code, and in fact it is specifically architected to encourage that. Models have no database code in them, so they can be used for populating a database or displaying in a table, for example. As much as possible has been chosen to reduce the amount of work necessary to get started.

I like #4 the best. For me the value prop is you do all the searching and filtering for me. But should it be "handpick FROM thousands of remote jobs" otherwise it might seem you send me thousands of remote jobs?

I'm a fan of #1. If there's some way to convey the value delivered in the hand-picking, that would be good, I think.
I'm able to filter a lot of job listings by "remote" now, so I'd be interested to know why your curated list would save me time and effort. Something like, "Get hand-picked jobs with the most inclusive companies straight to your inbox." (More than 10 words, heh, but you get the idea.)
I like number 1. 1 and 3 are my favourites and say it with the fewest words, but 3 sounds a little more passive compared to the active voice of number 1 - it's like I'm being told what it can do for me rather than reading a description of what it does.

I used to use an app that basically watched all my work-related apps . It would report how much time I spent in each Slack channel, a given Google doc, etc. I could also tag those to a specific project for even more automation. Each day/week/month I could basically back into my hours for each project by reviewing the time spent in the different areas of those apps, assigning un-tagged time-block activities to a project.
It was magic. If you're building something like that, it'll be awesome. I feel like any time tracker app that requires me to start and stop a timer is pointless because I won't remember to do that.

Well, Mint allows you to create custom categories and recategorize things (including splitting charges). So when I used to buy things from Amazon, I'd go in and manually split a receipt into its components (eg "books" or "software" or "home supplies"). I still do that on Mint, I just don't use Amazon anymore, but same basic deal if I do a large order from somewhere that covers multiple categories.

For your one-liner, I'd say that you could focus in even more on what makes your bookmarking Chrome plugin different from the others. Having tried a couple of others, yours looks much more beautiful and intuitive. (Beautiful is in fact important for a bookmarking tool, I think!)
I'd get the keyword that will resonate with the end-user you're targeting into your one-liner. Is it for productivity nerds? Is it for creatives (who are often productivity nerds, ha)? What's a descriptor that will immediately tell your target user that this was made for them?

Having failed to launch some side-projects in the past, I caught myself reading a lot about companies and entrepreneurs (contemporary ones and also some from the past). What fascinates me is how pre-internet companies, even from past centuries were using "modern" techniques like a/b testing, influencers, distribution channels and so on. We have a lot to learn from those companies and modern companies get a lot of attention and case studies, but that's not totally true when we talk about those "old ones"
So true! I mean, you'd think the internet invented A/B testing, and nothing could be further from the truth. Often times some important details of what those companies knew gets lost in the modern interpretation of their practices, as well.
For your one-liner, I feel like conveying the "why" would be really powerful if you could find a way to do it.
