Pivoted my AI visibility tool from dashboard to weekly citation task list — MVP live ($29/mo)

I'm building in the GEO/AI search space and just pivoted the MVP based on early feedback.
Most tools answer: 'Is ChatGPT/Perplexity mentioning us?'
The narrower (and more useful) question for operators: 'Which prompt are we losing, who's getting cited instead, and what exact cont

    Quick datapoint from today:

Ran 4 CRM prompts through ChatGPT.

HubSpot showed up as the top recommendation in 3 of them.
    Salesforce didn’t win any outright.

    What stood out:
AI clearly favors simple positioning + clear free-tier messaging.

This is why I’m leaning toward task-based output instead of dashboards.. the actionable part becomes obvious pretty fast.

Thinking each report should basically say:
“Here’s the exact page + fix to win this prompt.”

Feels way more usable than just “you were mentioned X times.”

Appreciate this.. you nailed the core shift. The prompt-to-page diagnosis is the product, the score is just the hook. Staying on CiteLens for now, Xevoa noted for later

You narrowed it in the right direction.

    “AI visibility” is interesting.
“Which prompt are we losing, who’s getting cited instead, and what exact content gap caused it?” is operational.

    That shift is the product.

CiteLens is clear enough for now, but if this keeps moving toward serious search-intelligence infra, the product likely outgrows the current name.

Xevoa.com would carry that category better if you keep pushing toward operator-grade GEO intelligence instead of staying framed as a visibility tool.
