Hey indie hackers devs!
Massive turmoil, won a hackathon then our team merged with Stanford-led project, we need great front end hackers, react native esp. App release date very near and privacy first. All contact info there:

Take care and let's heal the world with code 🤗🤩🚀
I like the idea of a distributed database on each cellphone. I wonder if you have any estimates of how big the database is going to be? In principle only stores encounters, right?
Regarding GPS data, you say it is going to be anonymized, but I didn't understand how. You just store locations of people but without any identification? Then, one someone tests positive, how do you know which points in the past should be marked on the map? And if you do store an anonymized ID, together with geolocation, then that is not anonymus by definition. Not many people live at my house besides me.
And BTW how do you suggest I post to help great front end hackers see our action? Thanx in advance for your advice 💝
Great questions, I'm very dev friendly but not technical myself ☺️ although we're using Bluetooth first, the MIT one is GPS and I know we tried decentralized ID but probably not scalable at once to millions.
If you would like to contribute, contact them via the email on the page and the Slack already has hundreds of contributors and many of your questions could be answered over there! Take care 🤗
