Hey Indie Hackers! 👋
Quick update from us — we just launched a basic version of our website for Planlay:
(It’s still a work in progress, so all feedback is welcome!)
For those who missed our first post, we’re building Planlay, a simple web app to help small business owners and team leads easily create and share weekly staff schedules.
We’re currently:
Testing core features (one-click scheduling based on employee availability)
Preparing for private beta access
Trying to stay consistent with our social media presence (Twitter, Indie Hackers, Reddit — we’re learning as we go 😅)
What are some effective ways you’ve seen others market a B2B app like this — especially to small business owners (cafes, salons, retail, etc.)?
We’re trying to find organic, creative ways to reach the right audience — mainly small business owners and managers who are often too busy to go looking for tools like this, even though they really need them. We know they’re out there, we just need to figure out how to meet them where they are.
Have you seen anything that worked well for similar tools?
Appreciate all insights 🙌
