Planning to switch my career, but I have no idea next...
Hello Everyone,
I am working as a senior development engineer from 10 years on Java, Ruby and Angular like programming languages. From last couple of months I was not satisfy with my jobs and planning to build my own career with a new platform.
I have below ideas to startup with which I have an experience on website / application development. I have no investment in my hand right now to hire people to develop (I can invest on the initial setup of the website, hosting, domains like that)
- Build a blog / website on word press which doesn't require coding knowledge
- Any website to develop on my own with my skills and host to public
I have no idea where and what to start and if any one can give me some ideas which areas I can look into and startup with.
I am not at all able to focus on my current job, always running in my mind to start something new. Please give me any advice that will be very helpful for me to look into.

I'll admit I'm too young and inexperienced to be giving anyone advice, but the best advice I've gotten is to work your way backwards from a problem somebody has and build a solution for it. Instead of searching for "startup ideas" to fit a problem

I am biased towards starting a newsletter. 4 years ago I wanted to learn about Influencer marketing because I was working in the industry and wanted to move up in the industry. So I started a newsletter. That led me actually to building websites and databases and allowed me to go off on my own, by selling ads. And ultimately led me to choosing to code more than anything else. Seeing the problems and issues that kept coming up that are solvable are solvable by code.
That's my story. I highly suggest if you're interested in something, anything, to study it, curate articles and express that knowledge on a weekly basis. Either through written essay, video, or curated links with enriched data.
You don't know who you'll meet, and who will read what you write/curate. It could and will lead you on so many different paths.
