Why did I start developing it
It started over 2 months ago, i was searching for a simple schedule manager for my team and obv found many, but none had these 3 features at the same time:
So, in my spare time, i started developing a planner that could meet my needs.
I had great challenges to overcome: i worked on the backend, frontend, UI/UX and also the infrastructure.
This is the stack i used to do everything:
It took me 2 months but i’m happy that i learned new cool stuff.
In the last few days I finished developing what it was missing and now i’m in love with the result:
A quick and easy to use Twitter calendar planner with heavy focus on the content, simple draft management and useful and easy-to-read analytics for growing faster.
What are the differences between planny and other tools?
Since I have been an indie hacker for a long time (and I have never finish a project) I am happy to finally show you the beta release of Planny.
I want to give pro subscriptions for 3 months to the first 20 people who answer below.
I would be super happy to hear your feedback 🫂
There’s also free version that can be upgraded (if you like Planny and you want to support the project) at $4.20 only for Indie Hackers like me. When the project is fully operational, the price will rise to $7/m.
What do you think?
Thanks in advance for anyone who will answer!
Definitely interesting idea. For work I had to use the twitter schedule many times but I always felt terrible, I hated the possibility of not having a calendar view. This tool will make my job of scheduling my tweets much easier. The UI is very nice and most importantly clean. I hope to use a final version that will allow me to collaborate with my team, something that is absolutely necessary and that no tool has.
Hope Planny is the right software for you! For now, I'm listening to the various feedbacks to improve :)
Why should people switch from a competitor to Planny?
However I really like the idea, I tried it and it seems really intuitive and simple. I used it to tweet and it works fine!
I tried many schedulers for Twitter but none were vertical only on Twitter and each one had different problems, that's why I switched from competitors to Planny.
For me, simplicity is everything and the strength of Planny is just that, it works and does it quickly. No overthinking as andrew_rome said :)
I really like this ux/ui for manage my calendar. It's very clear with no overthinking, just post, use template and more. I'll make part of my tool.
🥰 I have updated the landing with more useful informations :)
A very useful tool! Keep developing the project, I will definitely use it!
Thanks francesco_scar! Let me know how it's going, I'm super happy to hear feedbacks!
