PlateLink application
Hi, creators! This app is based for Lithuania currently but I still want to present it to you :)
Main point of the app is to reach other drivers by their license plates through the app. Whether a car is blocking your driveway, parked incorrectly, window is down, lights are left or causing another issue - simply search for the vehicle by its registration plate, select the relevant problem, and send a notification. The driver receives it instantly on their phone and, if needed, you can continue the conversation through the app to resolve the situation quickly.
Every car gets a QR code which can be left on the window. This indicates that the car is in the app and when scanned - the car is opened directly in the application with a problem selection menu.
All in all this app makes any vehicle license plates - communication link between drivers. That's why I've called it PlateLink. The app is currently released on for iOS devices but also Android is now at closed testing stage.

Using the license plate as the communication layer is a clever idea. Most of these situations don't need a phone call or the police—they just need a quick way to reach the driver. The QR code makes that interaction feel much more practical.
Yes, exactly. Even the police, ambulance, firefighters themselves can use it.
That's the implication I found interesting.
The more people rely on it in situations like that, the less it starts feeling like a convenience feature and the more it starts becoming part of public communication infrastructure.
I imagine that changes some of the product decisions over time.
Yes, of course with growing user base some features would be added or adjusted. But now it's simple and doing what it needs to do. So next step will be to try to grow up users base :)
That's exactly the business decision I found interesting.
I don't think the important question is which features get added next.
It's the strategic decision that follows once something starts behaving less like a convenience tool and more like communication infrastructure—and I don't think I can do the reasoning behind it justice in a thread.
