Platform VS small well-targeted products

I've built my first product, a dollar-cost averaging bot for bitcoiners. It's a small product with some traction, but 90% of what I did is a platform. I managed many fundamental issues, from transactional email deliverability to data security, dealing with various APIs, accepting Bitcoin payments, etc.

The thing is, I have many more ideas for an overlapping audience (crypto investors & traders) that could be implemented either as another feature on the existing platform or as a different product with a separate landing page, user account, etc.

I fear that by mixing things, I will make my product harder to pitch and understand. On the other hand, a family of related products can be attractive for many, and having one website, one login (and one userbase) has benefits.

Does anybody have experience with a similar dilemma? Any good reads on the topic?
