Please don't use the phrase “Lets jump on a quick call” 🙄

At Outplay - https://outplayhq.com/ we are a bunch of sales nerds doing targeted cold calls for some time. And we were discussing how overused certain phrases are in sales, especially during calls

Like

“I don’t want to waste your time”

“Can we circle back to our discussion from last week”

And plenty more phrases that have been so overused that they do actually lead to negative results.

We try to avoid using cliches by listening to our previous calls and doing role-plays among the sales team members frequently.

Language can really make or break whether you end up selling or not.
