Hello Indie Hackers,
I have developed a productivity / to-do list app - Focused. Focused increases your productivity by making it easy to focus on what's important and urgent.
I would really appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to give me feedback on the landing page - https://www.focusedtodo.com/
Thanks in advance.
@iakbar,
You say that Focused:
But you don't say in your hero how that happens. Or why that's important? (And yes, obviously it's important but drill it home)
I second this one. The headline "A minimal to-do list app with a clean interface" doesn't make the app stand out from the rest.
Thanks for the suggestion. Will update the hero section with more information.
Hey @iakbar - the hero section is amazing and clean.
When I scroll down, I can't focus and no idea why I should read. I expect a landing page is move visual driven and keywords only :)
I'm running a side project on Notion, would be awesome to hear your feedback too!
As the others wrote - it's too much text...
Maybe you can try to describe your product and 2-3 tweet sized messages (280 characters each). Include more images. Group features in sections.
If you want to leave the more detailed descriptions, write a blog post about it.
Yes. I have had a few people tell me that there's a lot of text. Will reduce the text on the home page and move the detailed content into a blog post as suggested.
Hey @iakbar, I agree with @dominicabela too. The minimalist feel is nice but there is way too much text. I felt so overwhelmed with all the content and just skimmed through instead.
I want to help you out right now. I sell easy-to-setup HTML themes on buildfaster.co and one that would appeal to your site would be either SimplyApp or Reach the Grid. They will only take minutes to setup and you'll be glad you chose to use one of them.
Let me know if you have any questions or thoughts :)
Thanks for the suggestion. Will check out the HTML themes.
Cool, let me know what you think :)
I like the minimal look but I think there's too much text overall. You have several paragraphs and lists all with the same font size so it's hard to skim and get the overall idea.
I would break it up into sections - each section having a large header that explains a benefit and then you can explain the details below it.
Thanks. That really makes sense.
