Please, help me think about my next project 😊
Next week, there is a long holiday in Brazil. So, during this time, I wanted to build an application where the user inputs data from their application, and a dashboard would be generated automatically, customizable, and ready to be inserted as a component in the application.
Do you think it's a good idea?
Data input and customizable dashboards are significant features in many apps across numerous sectors, from finance and healthcare to social media and e-commerce.
Integrating this as a component can increase productivity and usability for your users. It can remove room for redundancy, streamline the work process, and provide valuable data insights. Not only would this save time and resources, but it also enhances the overall user experience - making data analysis more immediate, dynamic, and interactive.
I'm just curious about the design you are thinking of.

It's definitely worth exploring further. Data visualization is pretty hard so there is a lot of value to be had in automating it well.
Have you explored this using some user centered design approaches? For example something like "Mark is a restaurant owner who has a website that allows online ordering. He has data which shows what people order, when they order it, and when it is available for pickup. He wants people who come to his website to see what the most popular dishes are and how long it takes for them to be prepared. He puts in this data to the service and gets a visualization that looks like X which he places on the ordering page."
This sort of thing will help you get into the mindset of someone who would be paying for your product and evaluate it through their eyes.

Hi @raspantiGuta, so if I understood your right, what you try to achieve is building a kind of dashboard generator that "understands" user data/input, right.
Evaluating an idea often depends on knowing your future customers. Do they have the problem you try to solve?
It can't be generally said if your idea is a good or a bad one.
The question I've from a technical perspective do you try to generate something, where the dashboard could get embedded into external applications or iframes?
What's your goal with the idea?
