Please help validate my idea + landing page πŸ™

https://dillydish.co

Hi, I'd appreciate some help validating my idea and landing page of an intelligent lunch manager and delivery service for workplaces here https://dillydish.co.

I'm trying to solve the tough spot between one-off delivery services (quick, fresh food but sometimes unreliable and very high fees) and catering (reliable, cost-effective but often get luke-warm subpar meals).

Like the landing page. Don't like the 'AI' reference. I trust people to know food. Not computers yet.

I assume it will be available in locations first. Might want to call that out with a map etc.

Hi @joshdance since the last time we talked I've launched a new landing page. We've pivoted a little. Hoping to get your eyes on this and see if you like it! https://www.indiehackers.com/post/ff39981e82

Hi @joshdance thanks so much for the feedback. I agree "AI" was probably too much. We are actually just working on an ML-based recommendation engine for each person (since we would like menu items to be more personalized for each one).

Yes, we are rolling out in the Bay Area. Good call about the location!

You can probably dim down the background image, it's kind of hard to read with white text on it.

Hi @donaldng I've launched a new landing page since! Hoping I could get your eyes on and give feedback when you get the chance https://www.indiehackers.com/post/ff39981e82

      Thank you @donaldng!

Love the landing page design and fonts you use. What platform are you using? Also, you may want to get someone who's good at copywriting to take a look at your messaging. Good luck and keep us updated on your progress. Love hearing about startups and the progress of entrepreneurs.

Hi @vez1132 I've launched a new landing page since then. We have pivoted a little and hope to get your feedback! https://www.indiehackers.com/post/ff39981e82

Thanks, @vez1132! What is the platform you meant? Can you elaborate over the copywriting part? Something's not quite right?

Sorry. I was asking what platform did you use to build the landing page? Did you use a platform like Carrd, Landen or did you build it yourself using Wordpress or some other CMS app? I really like it. Copywriting is just having someone who's good at using words to describe what you're trying to accomplish. I'm not saying it's bad. Sometimes these copywriters can make it better using different words and phrases. If you think it sounds great already, stick with it. I hope you keep working on this and wish you nothing but success.

It was built from scratch in React and Bootstrap. I think we can still improve on the copies for sure.

My company uses EAT Club catering for our lunch. The food is less impressive and it does feel like eating school lunch at times (same packaging, less quantity, less diverse choices, etc.). I have to admit lunch became a less favorite moment at work for me, but it helps with our budget.

We decided to move away from DoorDash because with batch orders they (or the restaurants) would often cancel us last minute and it took a lot of time for one person to summon orders from everyone.

I pack my lunch from home. What I can cook is typically healthier, tastier, and cheaper than eating out.

    Typical lunches:

    • Baked Chicken Thighs and greens
    • Steak and quinoa salad
    • Pork roast and cheese
    • Mixed bean salad and some fruit

Wow, looks great! does your workplace offer lunch?

By the way, some feedback on your landing page:

        • White icons and text are difficult to read on your chosen banner photos
        • "Quality Meal At a Budget" should be "Quality Meals on a Budget"
        • Font selection and sizing is good
        • I like the pink
        • Clicking on the signup buttons brings me to the form, but the page loads already scrolled to the bottom. This means I have to scroll back up myself before entry.

My workplace does not offer lunch. We're a small agency.
