Please let me know if something on my homepage rubs you the wrong way, I'm so lost as to why I'm not getting more conversions 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi everyone,

I created rust-crosshair.com. When I launched, I got about 10-15 sales and decided to get customer feedback to launch a better V2 of the product. When I did that, I really thought I would start to get more sales. I added new content and tried to build a brand on the website but I feel like the sales have actually gotten worse since the changes. I have this feeling something is off with my homepage, can you take a look to see if something rubs you the wrong way?

Thank you so much!

    I like the page design.
You're collecting emails, so I'd expect a link to a Privacy Policy - there's loads of simple templates out there. Most won't click to it, but its a standard presence for trust.
I agree with another poster about the testimonials.

Thank you for that! I was wondering if I was missing something regarding data collection and privacy. I'm not doing anything malicious with the emails but I would like to point that out.

When I see the landing page I feel as if its a scam. Maybe add some faces to the testimonial and add your team faces in there?
Also can you make the landing page look more professional? It looks as if it was put together to meet the bare minimum requirements.
I hope I wasn't too harsh. 😊 Good luck man

Not harsh at all! This comment along with others is inspiring me to do a rebranding!

What I can tell, though I am not an expert:

    1. I think asking 10 dollars for a crosshair, while the whole game costs 40 on steam, seem a bit too expensive, but I might be just cheap :) You can try to experiment with the price.

    2. I found a few things:

    • I cannot really define but somehow the composition is not pleasing.
    • The 'buy with paypal' is so different from the rest of the page it attracts the eyes immediately, and my first thought was: this page wants to sell something to me, which is not good.
    • You have a shopping cart, but it seems you only sell the crosshair. (Can I buy more than one, does it even make sense?)

    I'd suggest:

    • Try to emphasize what will be the benefit for the visitor. Like: "Want to be as accurate as sniper? We too. That is why we developed Rust Crosshair" or something like that.
    • Experiment with different layouts, maybe you can find a pleasing composition
    • Try to create a gif from one of the videos and replace the main image.

If I were you, I'd either buy a page template and would try to customize it or if money is not of a big issue I'd hire a professional to re-design the page.

    Hope this helps!

Helps out a ton! Thank you so much for your feedback! I am adjusting the page to be a lot more professional looking and am lowering the price.

The website looks fine, but can you ask your initial buyers if they're still using it, why yes or no, if they recommended it to others, what they would change about it? Etc...

Thank you so much for the feedback! I changed the price to 6.99 instead of 9.99 and am planning on adding a 'How it works' section!
