Hey, fellow indie hackers 👋
I need your help improving my landing page https://www.supergrow.ai/
My visitor-to-signup conversion rate is too low. I've been trying to improve it but haven't been able to make an impact. Hence I am here asking for help from the community.
Please roast it and tell me your hypothesis/assumptions on why visitors are not singing to the platform.
Hey there,
Gave it a quick look. Instant thoughts:
Demo pictures of the UI are tiny, have no idea what I'll be interacting with if I decide to sign up. Especially given that trial window is relatively short (7 days).
Kinda have to go through all the images and text. An animated demo or even a video could help with explaining. If your visitor count is good but the conversion is low, it probably means you're hitting the right audience, they're just not convinced enough that's what they're looking for? Captain Obvious checks out, but I just want to emphasize the importance of a good use case / problem-solution / product demo.
Awesome that you have some users that shared their honest feedback. Might want to try put it in the hero so that the tool feels more real.
Sort of coming out of #2, but maybe hero could have the demos too? Right now those tiny pictures are below the fold. Hero is the most important!
Hope this helps :-)
Hey @utsav, just had a look through your landing page/general site and overall the page is super nice and has a good aesthetic! Kudos for that! Here are some of my thoughts on how you might improve conversions:
Your hero is quite plain and minimal. While you include some good copy and social proofing, when I land here my perception is that this product is quite minimal. If I were you, I would try:
Moving down the page, the examples of the UI in general look good, but the images are tiny, so I would have to really zoom in to see them. I would recommend making them larger or cropping them to a key area so users can easily see what they're buying.
As for the testimonials, if I was considering buying the product I might click one or two of the profiles on the testimonials to check they are real people. Otherwise, they might just be Unsplash avatars for all I know. So I'd recommend adding links to the peoples' real LinkedIns (if they're cool with that).
Finally, my question to you would be what is the key value you're providing to your users? Is content creation in this way a problem you know they have? I think the market for AI-supported content tools is already quite saturated, so you have to be hitting a really strong pain point in order to stand out.
Overall the landing page/UI looks like it's in really good shape, so well done on that. Let me know if you want to discuss these suggestions with me, or if you need help with any redesign work. Happy to connect :)
Hey @utsav congratulations on seeking feedback. It isn't always easy.
Question - What is the ONE problem your tool is solving and who is the audience?
Yeah awesome question! I think the site talks a lot about the cool tech, but it's not in the world of the customer. Customer doesn't care if it's AI or not. They want their problem solved.
Get at it from their perspective. Would you want to hear that dentists use german polymer fillings, or that you won't feel any pain and your teeth will be healthy?
Right. I think the "Ultimate Linkedin content creation tool" doesn't really tell me what you are all about. Maybe
