To add to some other comments, it says that I can "use these 10 tools" but it doesn't seem to ever explain what those 10 tools are? And screenshots seem to cover only half.

Edit: I see that it is explained if I scroll the screenshots. So maybe make screenshot scroller more visible.

Hi Harsh, I recorded a think out loud video for you. Hope it's helpful: https://www.loom.com/share/69dfc6d1e8974336920872c2b15e777d

The OTF area is fairly clean what this product is, but the three screenshot looking things are not looking very good. Instead of three bad screenshot, you should show one good one.

I have scrolled down so far only one time, and I have already seen the rocket icon three times. That's a bit too much. I do like the stock photos in the features area, though.

The screenshots area looks rough. Firstly, there is no need for that screenshot to automatically change. There are buttons, let me click them and control what I see. Secondly, each of those screenshots are different sizes, making them awkwardly move around when I scroll through the screenshots. Thirdly, the screenshots don't really show the product, they show some menu options of the product. And they don't look that great, either. And lastly, please don't use double exclamation mark. Wording like "It's easier than ever!!" just sounds like teenager texting, not a professional landing page copy.

After scrolling all the way down, I realize this is a mobile app. Here's a question: How many copywriters are really using their mobile device to write a copy? I don't personally know a single one. So, why is this just a mobile app? This should be a web app first, mobile app maybe later, if ever.

The landing page is also not clear about pricing. If this is free, it should be more clearly stated. The "get started for free" implies a free trial, but there is no details how much this thing actually costs.

Thanks for providing me with this much feedback. I'll make the changes.

    • Padding of the navbar is not correct. Maybe increasing it would help achieve better look.

    • I would say, the spacing between the elements on whole website looks very inconsistent.

    • The primary button padding seems off.

    • Hero image could be better. Although it teases the continuation, which is really good, but images can be improved.

    • In the screenshots section, neither arrows are clearly visible, nor there's any indicator if there's more content. Also, design of the screenshots could be improved.

    • Footer is simple, but why centered layout for it? Tons of empty space on left and right, looks weird.

That's all from my side. Thank you.

I think looks coool! I don't have any comment.

    Hi Harsh,

With products like this I think a lot hinges on the content that the product can write. You mentioned using a bunch of different AI tools, but in your screenshots you didn't give a single example of something that the tool generated.

Along the lines of other posts here, I would remove the current screenshots and show a real example of an input and an output from your tool to try and build the picture of how your product can help them with the challenges of writing quick and useful content.

The second point is what is the reason for making it exclusively a phone/tablet app? When creating content I'm almost exclusively working on a laptop. If I create some great copy in your app, I then need to copy/paste/send it over to my laptop to use it.

Please let me know if I've misunderstood some aspects.

How many users are you looking to have with Copyist?

As much as it can grow.

    • In the top navbar, "About" and "Contact" are too close together. It reads too much like a single phrase “About Contact” than two distinct links.
    • Under “Get your writing superpowers,” it’s distracting having “Blog,” “Articles,” “Emails,” and “Social Media Posts” all capitalized, while other words are not. These aren’t proper nouns and don’t need to be capitalized.
    • “writers block” needs a possessive apostrophe: writer’s
    • There’s an unanswered question you might consider addressing: This is a mobile app, but many of these activities (writing an article , blog post, or email) are things many people typically do on a desktop. Is there a smooth way to get the output from your app to the user on a desktop?
    • I find the graphic above “Boost your productivity” a little chaotic and hard to decipher.
    • All of your screenshots seem to be first-level buttons, each of which corresponds to a task (e.g., Welcome Email, Generate the first email you send to new subscribers, …). Presumably, I’d need to tell it some details of my product or newsletter, etc., but you don’t show an example of that part of the interface.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. I’ll make all these changes.

I think it's too generic. You should focus on a niche. For example I use an AI writing tool to help me write email sequence

Make the CTA a more blue color so it goes with the theme. Show like an example of your product in action.
