Please Roast My Landing Page -- hacksocial ai

Dear Indiehackers community,

I'm here to ask for your brutal honesty and unfiltered feedback. I'm the founder of hacksocial.ai, an AI-powered platform designed to help businesses and individuals grow their social media presence. I'm currently in the process of launching the platform, and I want to ensure that my landing page is as effective as possible.

That's where you come in. I'm asking you to roast my landing page. Give me your most unfiltered opinions, critiques, and suggestions. Here's the link to the landing page: https://www.hacksocial.ai

I want to know what works and what doesn't work, what's clear and what's confusing, what's appealing and what's off-putting. Your feedback will help me make the necessary changes to create a better user experience for our potential users.

Feel free to leave your comments in the comments section or to contact me directly with your feedback. I'll take all of your comments seriously and use them to improve the landing page.

Thank you in advance for your honest and unfiltered feedback. I can't wait to hear what you think!

    • The screenshots being off-center made me mad.
    • Fonts can be consistent (I found 4 different fonts being used)
    • Landing page is too wordy, cognitive overload will make me likely skip
    • Too much white-space in the landing page
    • Countdown to launch should not be inside that vertically scrollable container
    • Layout is messed up, it goes everywhere.
    • Instead of sprinkling the screenshots everywhere, put them in their own dedicated section
    • Light gray text(along with a small font size) on a dark background is not great contrast wise
    • Early access CTA should be up and front on the first section of the landing page.

Not bad at all, but not enough professional by the way. Take a look at some webflow templates to me make it more attractive to the audience. Here are some templates https://flowgiri.com/webflow-templates

Nice design. it's a bit inconsistent. It feels scammy design wise. Take a look at some consistent UI kits, Tailwind CSS for example. TLDR; consistency is the key in web design.

Hit me up if you need more advice :)

What do you mean scammy design? What specifically should I change?

Here are a few critiques that I would recommend:

    • Make your heading font center-fold.
    • Create a landing page video.
    • Create a larger CTA below the landing page video.

The screenshot with the difference between hacksocial and alternative looks low quality, especially with the background. I would get a much higher resolution of the tweet zoomed in and put it into two boxes for a side by side comparison rather than use arrows.

The second screenshot looks way to similar to the first one, I might as well thought it was a duplicate. I would put all the screenshots side by side in one section for a comparison.

The social media icons take up too much vertical space without adding anything. Again, I would put these side by side. They also have way too much text. You can be more succint with them.

Also, curious, since images are a large part of content creation, do you have plans for image generation for hacksocial? If so, check out Evoke for a backend for img gen. We're also planning on getting more models soon as well.

Feel free to also join our active AI discord if you have more questions.

In the “Countdown to Launch!” box, the text is not fully displayed. Instead I have a vertical scroll bar. Initially I see only “Countdown to Launch!” and just the very top of “1d 18h 25m 45s”. It seems I shouldn’t be asked to scroll to see this.
