Idea is simple: a daily developer newsletter that provides a well composed informational lesson on a dev topic - would run in "courses," i.e there would be two weeks of straight Ruby lessons, then another two weeks with Git lessons, etc. This would then provide a weekly quiz and have raffles for those that get all of the right answers once a month or something.
Thoughts?
First off, love the name. Hope you had an easy fast if that's in your practice.
Like the idea, especially the gamified competition/raffle part of it. Wouldn't pay for it given the abundance of programming tutorials online. For years when I first started programming (in R) I subscribe to the R-bloggers newsletter that had exercises and blogposts on how to do stuff and it was great (it's fallen into the spam realms more recently).
Hey Gimel, thanks so much! Had a very meaningful fast, hope yours went well and had a lot of meaning as well!
