Please roast our Journaling Application landing page!πŸ““

Hey y'all,

I am just starting out as an indiehacker after more than a decade of working at various companies/start-ups as a software engineer/team lead.
I am diving head first into this entrepreneurial journey and have been busy building out LucidLogs, a service that helps you journal and log your life easily and privately.
I am coding this up with a good friend and fellow engineer and we really want to make this product secure and one you can trust.
See https://www.lucidlogs.com/ and let us know what you think!

We are making great progress in terms of development and looking forward to releasing in Spring of this year. We welcome any kind of feedback but want to focus on the following:

  • Overall design.
  • Is the idea clear? any confusion about how things work?
  • Would you want to use a service like this? (Sign-up if you are interested!)
  • Any feature requests?
  • Thoughts on pricing?
  • Other feedback / advice would be greatly appreciated! πŸ™

    • 7 ! on the landing page, that's a bit much.
    • The font for log your life story simply and securely is hard to read.
    • Simple. Secure. Ad-free. is redundant. It's already written below.
    • Simple, Secure, Ad-free should be centred. And maybe don't use emojis, but proper icons instead.
    • reCaptcha should be centred.
    • Min text size should be 16px and font-weight 500.
    • Pricing: $1 / month? Seems a bit low.
    • About page: make font size / colour and weight consistent.

Interesting idea otherwise, and the website doesn't look too bad at all.

Heey, solid start for sure. on the homepage i would change the UI of the "featues" section a bit. Because you have the description centered place the Emoji and Title below eachother.

    Emoji
    TITLE
    DESC

If you have the option to use recpatch 3 instead of the current 2 you can get rid of the " im not a robot" button.

Your site is quite minimal, so i would advise you to place pricing on the homepage (dont remove the pricing page explain more about pricing there).

You could also explain why it is more secure than tradiontial mail (encryption, experts, 24/7 support) throw in some businesswords

      Noted thanks for the feedback!
