Please vet my startup idea — AirBnB for golf clubs

I'm building Golfaxy, a golf rental marketplace that allows you to earn money by renting out your clubs when you aren't using them. With Golfaxy, you can easily list your clubs for rent and set your own rental prices. We offer secure payment options and insurance to protect both the renter and the owner.

I don't think there is a lot of indie hackers who plays golf. You should ask your question in front of your target audience.
Go to Reddit or Facebook and find a sub/group of people who play golf. I'm sure that if you ask the question there, you will get more feedback.

I don’t play golf, so I have no idea really, but it doesn’t sound ridiculous. I’m assuming a set of clubs are expensive, which is why beginners, at least, wouldn’t want to pay outright for a set.
The biggest challenge I can imagine for this ideas is that you’re creating a market place that deals with physical items. Both sides of the marketplace need to be in the same location with enough critical mass for it to work.
So to start off with, you need to kickstart this is one single location, preferably where you live today. Maybe even just one golf club. Find ways to promote this service there. Speak to people. Find people who own clubs. Find people who are interested in playing golf.
You don’t need to build anything digital at this point. It could all be achieved through email, or a Facebook group. Try and validate that this idea can work for a small community. Then grow it to the next golf club, the next town, the next state.
That’s how Airbnb and Uber did it.
