Please vet my startup idea and beta tester landing page

👋Hi all!

For a few months now I'm working on my startup idea and after a few tests with people I know and trust I'm ready to start my closed pre-alpha.

Landing page: https://yep.so/p/fitfeed

So before I go all marketing I'd like some feedback please.
I want to know if my current landing page is conveying the value clearly, and where I can improve it.
My goal is to get actual testers that can provide valuable feedback to improve my product prior to launch.

I would be very grateful, if you could provide me some feedback on the following:

  • Does the value that my product brings become clear?
  • Would you sign up? Why/why not?
  • Any constructive feedback will be appreciated.

Thank you very much for your time and input 🙏

Hey Matt, congrats on the venture, looks great - here is some feedback I'd have for the site:

    • The testimonials on the site could benefit from more consistency with the target audience. Maybe consider creating a separate section for trainer testimonials to avoid confusion.
      • There is a testimonial from a trainer about how it helps her manage her clients which was a bit confusing at first glance (especially since it was in a high-visibility spot)
    • It would be helpful to shed more light around who is actually creating the personalised workout routines and their qualifications. Could add information about the credentials of the trainers creating the workouts. Also, might consider using a qualifier like "certified" or "expert" in the subhead to help reinforce the expertise.
    • I think highlighting the unique benefits of the service compared to other options in the market would be valuable. The fitness app marketplace is competitive so I might consider adding a section that compares Fitfeed to other fitness apps or personal trainers.
    • You could simplify the header and subheader a bit to make it them more concise and impactful. Ex. you could get rid of the current header and replace it with a simplified version of your subhead’s first sentence. Then use another sentence to drive home other benefits.
    • Simplifying the CTA away from pre-alpha would make it more accessible to a wider range of non-technical users. Also it isn’t explicitly clear what’s included in the pre-alpha version pre-signup.

Hope this was helpful. Overall, great job on the landing page!

      Hey parkergnc,

that is very valuable feedback and I will incorporate that into my next iteration of the landing page. Every single point makes sense to me and brings additional value.

      Thank you very much!
