Please vet my startup idea - ChatGPT client for teams
I've decided to take my chance and build a ChatGPT client for teams. You'll have the ability to select the AI persona from a predefined list (or create your own) and select from a library of prompts (or create your own) - and all this under a Workspace with multiple users contributing.
All members in a workspace can see everything (chats, prompts, personas) and we'll have some team specific features, such as sharing / saving interesting responses from the AI into a separate area to highlight them.
I think a lot of people are trying to use ChatGPT in their work, so this tool will give them the possibility of doing that along with their colleagues.

@cciocov Unclear what problem this is solving or what job this is help me get done. Please elaborate. Feels like a lot more fleshing out is needed.
It provides a way for teams that want to use ChatGPT to share the conversations they have with the AI within the team. Also, you can build a team-wide library of prompts and AI personas (or characters) that will further improve what you can get from the AI. This, plus other features that generally improve on the current UI provided by OpenAI.
Right now, if you wanted to collaborate with someone else on a ChatGPT project, you'd have to share your findings/results via different channels, like copy&pasting or sending screenshots. Doesn't seem like a good approach.

My apologies but the value proposition is still not clear enough. Perhaps because you are looking at it through a technology lens. Maybe go a level higher and think about what people might want to achieve with it. Maybe focus on a specific functional like marketing and imagine what they might be trying to achieve and how they might need a tool like this in that context.
So, if we take marketing as an example, I imagine someone trying to come up with new ideas for a blog post, or taking a popular/viral post and rewrite it using AI.
Then, being able to share these "findings" with their team (assuming they don't work alone) in a more straightforward way than today (i.e.: today you'd have to go to chatgpt, use the right prompts and then copy&paste its output or take screenshots to share with others).
Makes sense?
Is it going to be a native app or is it going to integrate with popular platforms like slack and discord?
Would also be curious if you have plans for image generation as well. Would work great with Evoke
Hey Richard, yes, image generation is definitely in the roadmap. I'll take a look at Evoke and reach out to you when I'm ready for it.
At first it will just be a web app and regarding integrations, we'll just have to see what makes sense.

Seems interesting ! What is your ICP and do you have an idea about the pricing ? I can think about a lot of people who would love to use it but not that much who would pay for it.

I think the ideal customer is someone who wants to use AI to help with their work, but also needs to coordinate with teammates. If it turns out useful, I think paying a few $ / user / month should not be an issue for any company.

Totally agree. By ICP, I meant "company size, industry, etc...", do you have an idea, gonna be very useful if you wanna do some outreach.
So instead of using screen-shots to share responses, every team member would have access to the full conversation?
Yes, all conversations are available for the whole team. And you can fork a new conversation from an existing one or collaborate on coming up with useful prompts or AI personas to help you in your work.
