Podcasters: Do you have trouble finding quality guests and sponsors?

I've just begun doing research on a new project and I'd love some feedback. My hypothesis is that it's difficult for newer podcasters to find quality guests for their shows – both in terms of content quality and guest popularity.

I'd like to build a product that brings together podcasters and potential guests so that it's easier for both parties to find one another. But, first, I really need to know if this is a problem that the podcasting community has?

I'm not a podcaster but I do love when new voices emerge because of a podcast appearance. Often, you'll hear many of the same guests doing book tours via podcasts. Thanks for any feedback!
