Podcaster's - How did your build an audience + drop your link 🤩

Post my podcast on IH on questions like yours 😄 Does it work? Not sure yet, need a little more time 😅

I literally launched my podcast a few weeks ago, so still trying to figure the whole promotion thing. As I do have a blog as well, I think I will try to grow that will transfer to the podcast if this is the format that they enjoy.

Here is my take. Your podcast is most likely audio-based. Instagram (a platform with 1 billion users Source) requires that you upload either an image or a video. Well if you just have a .mp3 that is no good.

You could hack it and slap a random image on the audio. For some that is an easy task, for others they would have no clue where to start.

On top of that let's say you do get a video version of your podcast audio. You are seriously missing out still. Because many users have their volume on mute (80% of mobile users to be precise). So you need a way to communicate to them this video is good. Videos with body language, pretty faces, etc already communicate that data.

Don't worry you can still capture attention through words. Words are powerful, in order for you to easily achieve that, you can use subtitles.

I've spent some time working on a solution for you. I brought to the world Story Creator to help solve all those problems I described. On top of that, I recently released Templates which I've tested with my girlfriend (who has no computer knowledge) and it took her 1 minute and 30 seconds to create a high-quality video.

With Templates all you need to do is select one. It'll ask you to sign up for free. Then it'll be ready to go. Just add your audio (I added a built-in audio trimmer). Change some text. Then hit export you're done. I host the video for you and give you a sharable link + the ability to download it as a .mp4.

A Podcaster should be only concerned with is the quality of the content, not the Cover design of the Podcast. That's why I prepared a Podcast Cover Template that everyone can use easily. You can start using it by choosing a design that will best suit your podcast, uploading the image you want and adjusting each color if desired.
