I have started listening to podcasts starting back in summer 2019, mainly to fill the void of daily commutes. However nowadays I find myself listening to podcasts during most repetitive activities throughout the day. As I was thinking about this today I became interested how podcasts play into your lives and thought I'd ask.
Which?
Currently, I mostly listen to business related podcasts.
My favourites are: The Indie Hackers Podcast, The Pitch and 16 Minute News by a16z. (In that order)
When?
As already mentioned, I fill my solo-commutes listening to podcasts, but also do so while coding or in the gym, however less often.
Why?
(This is my favourite question)
I listen because it feels like being part of a conversation regarding a topic of interest to me, which most of my friends and peers don't share.
Very interested to hear your answers.

I strongly agree with your answer to "Why?". Personally I have never really enjoyed reading unless the content is really good. However podcasts are a great replacement. I haven't tried audiobooks, but I think they might be even better for learning about topics like business by being more segmented into different spaces (Marketing, Sales, etc).
Btw. Thanks for linking to your playlist. I'm still looking for a podcast on software development and I think I'm gonna find something there.
