Trailmapper.io < New landing page. Need feedback. Which components should I add next to improve visitor clarity of understanding?
Big ups to @alexanderisora and https://unicornplatform.com/ which is where I too our landing page after realizing Squarespace wasn't serving our needs.
seems like a good idea despite me knowing nothing about political campaigns.
i'm not sure what "Map out your Pathway to Victory." means and hard time to realize what is needed to do at that step if I were to get your product. More concretely, what am i supposed to map?
@binklee - yeah you are touching on something important there that I hadn't realized until you reminded me, which is the problem of Jargon. Pathway to Victory is a very "campaigny" term that political pros use, and most or at least many potential candidates would be familiar with the phrase, but not necessarily all potential customers/candidates. I'll have to think about more accessible language for that one. Thanks!
no problem. And out of curiosity, what does that mean? What are we mapping here?
Strategy & execution game-plan.
The "Pathway to Victory" is a campaign's plan, which - much like a business plan - includes both the "whiteboard" strategy (targeting, messaging, goals) and tactics (budget, team, roles, channels, partnerships, etc.)
Hi Dante, your concept is really cool and the name is perfect. The landing page is bright and airy - very modern and clean. The 3 screenshots at the bottom are really important and could probably stand to be more prominent. Maybe make each of them their own row, increase the size significantly, and pair it with a bit of explainer text. I also noticed you have two CTA's on here: Early Access and scheduling a strategy session. For the sake of this short & sweet lander, I say stick with one or the other. My final note is on the color scheme, which appears to be utilized in your platform as well. I love the lime green (in fact, just launched a product with a nearly identical color myself). However, I'm not sure it appeals to the general politician persona. Maybe something a little more muted and less trendy to instill trust.
Thanks @tomalley sorry for the late reply but appreciate the feedback! I always need/welcome perspectives from outside the political "bubble" as it were...
That is a good point about the color scheme, it may be a bit too SaaSy and not "Professional" enough for the average candidate/campaigner. I will probably scrap the "strategy session" CTA, as it might prime people to expect a consultant type business model, which is not our intent. My goal with the Strategy Session was to create an opportunity to collect customer feedback by way of these intro "interviews" but perhaps this could live on a whole separate landing page, or something we offer via email campaigns, as opposed to on the landing page.
