[Poll] Would you invest in side projects?

I have been working on a project where users can crowd invest in a side project and in return get some equity.

According to me, this is a great option because when you acquire something you should have the required skills and continue running the project with the same vision (or change the vision and it may fail).

Why not help the founder with the money and guide them so that you can get profit together.

Risk is the same in acquiring and in investing but the financial loss and time loss would be greater if you acquire something and are unable to run it.
