Post a free search engine ad for your product or startup
Hi all,
I have been working on a new privacy based search engine called Runnaroo.
Long term plan is to most likely fund it using context based ads to preserve user privacy (there's no user tracking).
I will not be able to build out that piece for a while so I figured I would provide a free way for the Indie Hacker community to post relevant ads for their projects in the mean time.
Just submit an ad in the below AirTable form. Please make sure the ad is 100% relevant to the search key term. I will review all the ads submitted, and once approved I use the AirTable API to pull them into the site if the query matches the keyterm.
Apologies if the process is still not the smoothest, this was a hacked together quickly to provide the ability to submit ads while I work on the core search tool.

I am spending most of my time on the core search functionality, and haven't really put much thought into the ad side. Creating the ability to add these ads has really been the first thing I have done. I'm hoping it will be a good learning experience.

Thank you for doing this! Is there any way to choose a few search terms other than re-submitting the form a few times (don't want to spam you)?

Yeah, it's a weakness in the current system that you have to submit a new entry for every keyterm. I will figure out a fix for that, but in the meantime feel free to make multiple submissions. They just go into an Airtable form so no worry about hurting anything. I will check it a couple times a day and approve any new ones.
