How are people doing this technically speaking?
I’ve seen a few newsletters that come as an individual post per email and when I go to their website, I see the exact same content laid out the same way. What platforms/workflows are people using to do this?
Are you talking about Substack? If yes, I do this as well. You can find how's the structure looks like. Here's mine!
This is exactly it, thank you!
Does this resemble what you are talking about?
The secret sauce you are looking for is called Substack .
It has the ability to create "posts" which are basically the "newsletter emails" which also has the ability to enable comments for discussion on the website.
This is exactly it too, thank you both for pointing this out as Substack!
Hi Mike, I do this with my newsletter and site. When I started it I didn't want to send the email it for just to exist in inboxes. All the content I share is evergreen, so wanted to create an archive. So, after playing around on a few platforms I settled on Squarespace which I have used for client sites before.
So, I create my newsletter first as a blog post, I then publish it and turn it into an email campaign. I do a bit of tweaking and then send it so my mailing list.
See what you think:
