Post your product tagline here, get feedback

Hi IH, Let's do a feedback session on product taglines. A great tagline requires external feedback. Let's help each other.

Post your product tagline in the comments and get feedback from the community.

I'll start. The product I'm building - Linkz.ai . The taglines I have in mind:

    1. Smart link preview popups for your website
    2. Hyperlink intelligence
    3. Allow visitors to see hyperlinks without leaving your website
    4. Hyperlink previews like on Wikipedia for your website
    5. Immersive hyperlink previews for your website
    6. Smart link preview like on Wikipedia for your website
    7. Keep & engage visitors with immersive hyperlink previews

    Which numbers resonate with you?

    1. 2

4, 7. 4 because it helps me visualize what you're doing, 7 - because it offers some benefit explanation. I specifically haven't checked your website to judge as a user who'll see a tagline in search or elsewhere.

I'd love more benefits explanation. I kinda question myself, what link on my website will require a preview? Why would I even post a link that may lose me a customer?

    2. 1

This is a great thread! I'm a professional copywriter, and I wonder if there's a simpler, way to explain. A few other ideas:

      Look before you click.
      Give every link a preview.
      Show what's behind every link.

Also, I agree with @sergey_shvets – would be interesting as a plug-in that I could use anywhere, rather than something that the site puts up themselves.

    3. 1

Have you ever thought of offering your service as a browser extension and make the end-user, not the website owner a buyer?

  2. 2

    Here's the product I'm building, it's called Sparel (https://sparel.app)

This is what I'm playing with

    1. Unblock the mental blocks. (this is what I have now)
    2. Discover better solutions to your everyday problems
    3. Unlock hidden solutions to your tough problems

    Maybe I'm thinking to narrowly

    1. 3

      The second one resonates more.

I've checked the landing page. I don't know anything about - Practices of Science would be good to explain why this method is better than other approaches. And good to provide use cases for this method.

      1. 1

ooo thank you! so interesting to see how other people percieve it - I totally resonate with all of this!

  3. 2

Time Wallet — task calendar for happy and productive people who value their time.

(still boiling down my idea to a good tag line, but this where I'm at:)

    1. 2

How do you differentiate from other task-based calendars?

      1. 1

Time Wallet — Productivity as a Habit.

Explains nothing but I think curious enough to lure people to read more.

      2. 1

That's the part that I haven't boiled down to the tagline yet. My main differentiator, that I build a tool to manage one's time not one's tasks. My thought process is below. Would love any ideas on how to add that to the tag line. Thanks.

Calendars are built for appointments, not for tasks. Task lists are built to depress people :) I'm marrying the two to fix the flaws of the other and I haven't found many products like this. Some to-do lists have some calendars but they're an afterthought, not the core functionality.

        1. 3

          :)
"Time Wallet manages your time better than a calendar or a task- list"

  4. 2

UserBooster - A Notion dashboard that helps you get your first users

    1. 2

I think Notion is irrelevant. I'm not a Notion user, but the value resonates with me.

      This would resonate with me:
"Proven strategy, tools & tips to get first users"

  5. 1

Great idea! I am creating a GPT-powered product description tool here: https://perci.ai/

My tagline: Automated product descriptions for online fashion stores.

I tried 'Descriptions, done' as a way to position this as the solution to the pain of people who hate writing descriptions. But figure I should keep it straightforward and explain what I do, rather than be vague.

    Thoughts?

I'm developing Pixiko.com - online video editor and maker.

    1. Now using tagline - Make you visual.
    2. And there's some straightforward tagline - Edit video via one click.
  7. 1

Ok, cool exercise. Side project i am working on right now, usernova.co

    1. We analyze your session recordings and provide you with the insights
    2. We review your session recordings to look for ways to optimize your page so you don't have to
    3. Do not spend time watching every recorded session. Tell us your goals and we will send you back relevant insights.

Might be long but not sure how to make them shorter.

    Thank you!

    1. 3

I like the third one the most.
"Do not spend time watching every recorded session. We watch, analyze & provide insights."

      1. 1

thank you for the feedback :)

I'm in a free public beta stage with https://chatbotdaddy.com/ What tagline resonates with you the most?
    Taglines:

    1. Chatbots and conversational landing pages for lead generation
    2. Conversational forms and chatbots for websites without coding
    3. Chatbots and conversational forms for pretty much everyone
    4. Chatbots for fun and profit

    🙏

    1. 2

Are these well-known terms "conversational landing pages ", "conversational forms"?
If your chatbots are purely for lead generation then I'll pick 1st

      1. 1

Thanks! They are not purely for lead generation but this is where I feel most of the paying customers will come from. It is purely a positioning statement.

  9. 1

Hoppa – Сreate help center with Notion.

    1. 2

I think it took me a while to understand what you mean. But after I got - it made sense. Maybe something like to help with understanding: "Publish & manage help center through Notion"

      1. 1

        Thanks, this is awesome 😇
