Posted 5 lessons I learned from 'Solopreneuring' - I'd love to know your feedback ^_^

It's a short article which I hope it'll be helpful for the community. I describe very quickly which hurdles I encountered while trying to get my side project up from the ground. Do you actually recommend 'solopreneuring'? Which attributes do you think are required? Thanks for the feedback! Please find attached the link to the article below, thanks!

As a fellow side-project solopreneur, I resonate with this message and these lessons, especially "Understanding the problem does not guarantee success." :) I wish I'd learned that many years ago.

As to critical feedback, a few things I'd recommend:

    1. The text is difficult to read with such long line lengths. I usually give article bodies a max-width: 30rem or so in the CSS. (See https://tachyons.io/docs/typography/measure/ for more info.)

    2. The article could use a good proof-reading. A couple self-editing tips: print it out and read it aloud to yourself. Anything you stumble over as you read, your reader will stumble over as well. If you can't print it out, copy and paste into a Word or Google doc and make it look different from whatever font you wrote it in. The differences trigger something in your brain to look at your own text with fresh eyes.

    3. A few really long sentences and awkward phrasings bog down an otherwise brisk article. After your first pass, you might consider using http://www.hemingwayapp.com/ to identify these.

I hope this is helpful. Keep on sharing!

      • Thank you so much for your feedback. I just realized the CSS is broken, sorry for the inconvenience, I need to fix it.
      • Really appreciate point 2. I need to be more patient before publishing the article.
Thanks for recommending the app - I didn't know it, really appreciate it!

I'm glad I could help. :) It's really hard to balance the need to ship and the need to polish. I tend to over-polish, myself. Having a bias towards shipping something that's not perfect is probably the better of the two.

Funny that I tend to ship too fast and the quality is affected,
The important part is closing the cycle with some feedback to keep improving (which is not trivial). That's why your inputs are very welcome.
