PowPlanner - online concierge for booking your next ski trip

Today I'm proud to announce I finally launched my passion project: powplanner.com

PowPlanner is an online concierge for booking your next ski trip.

Booking a ski trip can be very time consuming - conditions, lodging, lift ticket prices, drive times, equipment rental locations and nightlife all play a role into our decision . PowPlanner's goal is to consolidate all of this information into one centralized location to make ski trip planning easy, fun and affordable.

After several months of development, my MVP is now officially live! While I launched with significantly less features than anticipated, I'm looking forward to new releases every week.

Current features:

• Find near by ski resorts in the US
• Get drive times for all ski resorts
• Snowfall forecast
• Sort resorts by drive time and forecasted snow
• Link to lift ticket pages

Upcoming:

• Improve UI/UX
• Heatmap for snowfall forecast
• Heatmap for night life (restaurants, shopping, etc)
• Recent snowfall history
• Rental equipment locations
• Lodging

I designed and built this from scratch using: React, Nextjs 13, Supabase, Material UI and hosted on Vercel.
