Pre-launch landing page
Currently, I'm designing a landing page for my side product on Webflow.
Since it's in the pre-launch state I'm wondering if should I present the whole idea of my product (problem + solution) or if it's fine to come out simple without that until the product gets launched.
My goal is to collect some leads while I'm working on the first MVP.
What are your experiences with pre-launch landing pages?
Agree w/other comments here. Take GapScout for example (my business). Look at the main page for an idea of how to get a detailed landing page but without overdoing it.
Check out the blog as well. This is getting great SEO benefits in the process (currently the product is getting built). Already have a good list of people signed-up.
In short: tell people the benefit w/your landing page, and write articles.

I would absolutely get a holding page up and online ASAP.
Not only does it build SEO, but it adds integrity to the product, increasing the likelihood of onboarding to potential customers/users.
What is the difference between "simple" and "problem + solution" concerning your landing page?
You don't need a full-fledged website, but at least enough context should be displayed on your landing page to have clients understand what you are offering + a CTA

I was thinking of "Simple" as something not very deeply explaining my problem and the solution I'm offering + the future features.
But well said - enough context for users to get what's going on and what's the benefits for them could be a good approach.

The more you can share on the landing page the better.
While building Planzer, I really realised how valueable it is to communicate correct on your landing page, so it's understandable for everyone.
So I would recommend you took the time to build a proper landing page with as much information possible. 🙌
