Pre-Launch: Landing Page feedback

Hey IH,

I've been working on koderef.com, a platform to help you practice mock interviews with interviewers from top companies(Microsoft, Amazon etc) and a chance to get referred.

Happy to hear the feedback on the landing page :-)

Regards

It's an interesting concept in general. Just one thing is that I can't guess how's your product or service look like. Would love to see more info around this.

I also set a goal to improve my landing page, would love to hear your opinions and let's exchange ideas if you wanna chat on Twitter!

One suggestion no one mentioned, instead of a picture of a computer under the CTA, can you put a picture of a REAL person looking at some code?

    And one question:
The strip of companies you have, are those companies that use your tool/you get referred to, or companies that you can do mock interviews for?

The rest of the feedback is the same as the other comments ;) especially for the CTA!

      Hey,

Wanted to keep an animated frame having a little touch (candidate wearing a mask) of the current on-going world health situation.

The strip of companies are those that you can do mock interviews with and based on the interviewers feedback stand a chance to get referred. Ya, looks like adding a line over those would give a clear picture.

      Thanks for the feedback :-)

    Interesting idea, nice landing.

I would remove "Your one-stop solution to all interview preparations!" and leave just "Get a mock interview with your dream company, and a chance to get referred.".

"Get started" is too general. Try something more specific that gives some idea on what is hiding behind the button.

You might want to explain step-by-step how your service works so visitors will know what they are committing to.

      Hi

Sure, will think more about the first line.

Currently I am using "Get Started" mainly to get signups using a typeform. Any good suggestions for it?

Yes I'll be adding an about page detailing the steps and the related pricing.

      Thanks for the feedback :-)

The page itself isn't too bad the copy is decent. (I'm sure it could be improved but it's understandable and readable..)
The menu seems like it lacks design.
The call to action seems like you have 3 different types, one goes to typeform, one asks g+ auth and a third is a simple email ask that has some weird validation.
Now sure what your plan is but maybe better just the email first and follow up on email + web after...

      Hey,

      Thanks for the feedback,

Yes, I agree with you, that 3 different methods are not so great. I'll work on it :-)
