You simply decide what you want in your app, and it generates the code in real-time. All you have to do is form your request, receive several AI-generated suggestions, and choose the best option.
At any time, you can hire an freelance developer to handle unusual tasks, answer queries, or assist in deciding the best tech stack for your app.
Do you agree with this opinion? What are your thoughts on no-code tools in relation to the rapid development of AI-powered code assistants?
One thing that stop not-developers to start creating software is also the setup of the development environment. Sometimes it can be tedious.
The beauty of no-code tools is that they avoid all this.
An AI tool that want to compete with no-code need to consider that.
I hope the setup of the development environment is a necessity for all new AI tools. This issue should have been resolved a long time ago :)
its just the starting of AI so can not predict which one is better
If AI is just beginning and it's already superior in some cases, just imagine what will be happening in a few years!
If new platforms can use AI, existing ones can too, and better because they have more data for their specific models.
It's like people saying AI will kill Google, and Adobe but they can and are also adopting AI and theirs is also turning out to be at least as good if not better than others.
It is too early to predict what will take the market as there hasn't been any indication of a significant economic shift toward a certain use case. Only time will tell who gets luckier.
This is already happening. Check out Smol AI or GPT-engineer. Those tools are insane.
I checked these tools, and they're just wow!
I'm waiting to see the first article about someone building a business using only these tools!
I'm a software developer and I'm starting to feel the heat.
You needn't worry bcz most of these tools need you to have some basic idea of command rules, setup environment. And of course as a non tech dev most of the time we don't know exactly how to describe our ideas so that an AI can understand it.
I don't think it to be one or the other. I believe AI will simply supercharge existing no code tools.
No-code tools provide great convenience and speed, they may have limitations when it comes to complex or highly specialized applications. In such cases, the involvement of AI could be pretty great to overcome to technical barrier for building
