Prepping for my first Youtube video, Week Update #3
What's been up?
Last week worked on a feature request by an early user of TurboNav. The ability to /import and /export bookmarks in and out of TurboNav.
Now I'm working on building Pro features in preparation for a launch on Product Hunt. No timeframe, but decided to share my journey through video format. It's a new experience so will see how it goes. I'm going to try to step outside of my comfort zone so wish me luck!
What went well?
- I designed the user experience for the /focus command. This feature will help automatically clean up your browser windows and set a goal to help you get into deep work.
- I shared my update on Twitter and I got a DM from someone that said:
I saw the tweets about the focus command for TurboNav. I think you could be on to something with that. Tab managers normally don't catch my attention, but that is something that did.
- So I might be on to something! I hope so, it's really a tool to help me stay in deep focus so hopefully this will indeed help others
What I plan to do this week:
- Get started on the development of the /focus command
- Get familiar with recording and talking in front of the camera 😬
- create my Youtube account
Looking forward to seeing what comes out of this new experience. I'll keep you posted next week. Hopefully I'll have a small video out by next weekly update
