πŸ“ˆ Price increase impact on sales ( statistics )

https://twitter.com/rikschennink

For the past year I've been raising the prices of my CodeCanyon products. I first adjusted the price around November 2018 and later again in March 2019. These moments are marked with black vertical lines in the attached charts.

❀️ Slim (red)
πŸ’› Slim Gravity Forms (yellow)
🧑 Flip (orange)

Initially raising the prices increased the amount of sales for both Slim versions. Sales for Slim JavaScript (red) were tapering off, after the price increase they pick up again.

The price increase in March seems to have zero impact on units sold.

The amount of Flip (orange) units sold remained steady (after an initial burst of sales at the start of 2018). Apparently the price is so low that increasing it doesn't really matter.

Looking at the (cumulative) sales amount chart it's clear that increasing prices is having a positive effect on income as the sections after each price increase still slope upwards. I'll probably increase product prices further to see what happens.
