Which numbers should you use? How high should it be? Should it be rounded? This guide has 42 tricks to help you choose the best price.
Stumbled upon this resource today. Do you apply any pricing psychology to your products?
I think those "tricks" are terrible.
As others have said, techniques like deliberately showing prices in small fonts, removing commas, and removing the currency symbol are mystifying.
If you want to sell your product or service using a processor like Stripe, you must adhere to their minimum requirements, which include aspects such as displaying a currency symbol:

I also know from my own engagement with card processors, that before approving your website, they insist on having prices that are clear and complete.
Surprised about some of these tips. Removing the currency symbol just seems confusing to me, how are you supposed to know they're talking about money? I also don't agree with removing the comma, I think it works in some cases but can also look unprofessional. But I think a marketer would probably know what's best for their company
Fascinating, thanks for sharing!
I'm pretty shocked by the tip about showing prices in small fonts because most companies don't actually do that: https://www.glance.fyi/pricing-page/plan
It seems like the reason companies should avoid small fonts is that it can make it super annoying for people to find the prices they're looking for. When you're checking out a pricing page, you just want to know the cost as soon as possible, right? So having to squint and search for tiny text can be a real pain.
It is great. Bookmarked it for later read. Thanks for sharing this!
