Privacy Focused Marketing Agency

I've seen privacy-conscious startups pop up everywhere. The privacy-focused alternatives to Google analytics like Fathom and Simple Analytics are becoming way more popular. What I haven't seen yet is a privacy-focused marketing agency.

I know the two concepts may not go together - marketing and privacy. I've worked in marketing agencies that want invasive data, pulling information from data partners like Transunion, Bombora, or even Facebook. They want to match as much useful information to a user to create detailed audiences and profiles.

After a conversation with another indie-hacker, I realized there are not privacy-minded marketing agencies. The scaling startups out there that want to respect users' privacy have to start conceding with tracking or they have to find alternative routes to advertise. In fact, I am shifting my side project, IronMic, to be privacy-focused. Dropping Google Analytics and replacing it with Fathom. I'm looking at how to advertise the company, using private networks. Finding ways to use Google Search ads without using nasty data collection.

All the research made me want to do work as a marketing agency that is only focused on privacy. An agency that didn't use Google Analytics, instead it used Fathom, Simple Analytics, or Plausible Analytics. Placing ads with Context Cue, Ethical Ads, and on privacy-mind apps like Duck Duck Go. Helping startups become GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant.

I've put together a quick website for this idea. I haven't bought a domain, yet.... I am planning on buying one soon but wanted to validate the idea before I started buying all sorts of domain names.

I'd appreciate any feedback on the idea and site. I know its an early space but I think marketing has to follow the trend of privacy-focused apps and companies.

You are spot on! I am working on a solution for this kind of problem.

      Thank you for the feedback!

I agree it is a bit early but as more folks start using Fathom and other privacy-related analytics, I am sure more companies will not want to even use Facebook or Google.
