Privacy Is Broken in Everyday Tools — Can the Browser Fix It?

Every time we use “free” online tools, we trade convenience for control — especially with files like PDFs.

Think about it: we upload passports, contracts, invoices to random websites just to compress or convert them. Most people assume those files disappear after download… but they usually sit on a server, cached or logged somewhere we’ll never see.

That’s why I built PDFYogi, a privacy-first suite of PDF tools that run entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly. No uploads, no tracking, no servers.

Modern browsers are powerful enough to handle tasks that once needed the cloud — securely and locally. I truly believe the browser can be the platform that brings privacy back to everyday tools.
