I launched a Chrome writing extension on Product Hunt and LinkedIn. It brought me zero users.
At first I thought the problem was distribution. Then I looked at how I was describing the product.
I was selling "an AI writing assistant." That is a category, not a reason to install anything.
The real problem is much smaller and more painful.
You write one awkward sentence in Gmail. You copy it into ChatGPT. You explain that you only want the grammar fixed. You copy the answer back. Then you check whether the formatting or meaning changed.
That is a ridiculous workflow for one sentence.
So I built Polish to remove the entire detour. Select the sentence, press one shortcut, and the corrected text replaces it inside the editor you already have open.
No prompt. No copy and paste. No extra tab.
I also rebuilt the landing page around that exact pain instead of a list of AI features.
Here is the Gmail version:

I am looking for 10 people who write real work emails in Chrome. Try it on one sentence and tell me the first reason you would uninstall it.
