Product Hunt Help For Open Source Esports Platform

So launching my product on Product Hunt was meh as within the first hour the leading products has 150+ upvotes and my product no where to be found. So Im asking for a few upvotes on an open-source esports platform that I built.
I would be careful asking for upvotes as it is against the product hunt TOS. I would imagine they can scan the surrounding text from the link someone came from, and if asking for upvotes is detected, just have those upvotes not count toward bringing the product higher on the page.
