We have been around for three years now. After months of product pivoting and R&D, we decided to steer our service towards cold lead generation for sales prospecting and email marketing, focusing mainly on data quality and productivity.

We noticed that sales prospecting professionals and email marketers face a lot of hustle to generate qualitative B2B email lists from the internet; this implies laborious work going through public sources, professional social networks, and companies’ websites and directories.

Since our primary focus is data, collecting it from public sources is tricky. So, to avoid as much risk as possible, we decided to introduce cryptographic data collection--all of the data we gather is encrypted before it reaches our data stores.

Chrome extensions and APIs have been around for a while and are getting popular among sales and marketing professionals. As of today, our software includes two main parts:

Chrome extension: A piece of software that integrates with your browser and allows you to get professional email addresses from LinkedIn and Sales Navigator, and from companies’ websites. It also allows finding essential business data like the industry, the number of employees, funds raised, and the revenue of any company. The extension is also compatible with Firefox.
Web app: A simple cloud dashboard where you can search for companies’ employees and emails, store all of your collected emails and data, export your lists to CSV/Excel files, or synchronize it with your favorite CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot, Pipedrive...), manage your team access and track the usage of your credit.

We set up key metrics to measure our overall user success:

Time to get 250 emails: 12.5 seconds
Average email search time: 500 milliseconds
Email search success rate: 92%
Average download time of 100,000 emails from the dashboard: 30 seconds

More than 2M users currently use Skrapp.io, with 70k+ installs from the Google Chrome store.
