Product Hunt launch: share your results!

1000000 posts have already been written about the PH launch but I think it's gotta be useful to collect some results in one post.

I'll start:

  • 7 days for 3 people to prepare
  • Insquad (b2b startup, we buy devs for devs) is Product of the day #3
  • 600 upvotes → 60 leads → 30 ICP leads → 15 demos → 2 sales
  • 4 US/EU investors wrote to us
  • Invited to 2 podcasts

@decaster3 I launched my product ruttlon Product hunt](https://www.producthunt.com/products/ruttl#ruttl-2) couple months back. We got these stats -

🚀 #1 Product of the day
🥈 #2 Product of the week
    ⚡ Over 2500 website traffic
    🙎 200+ sign ups
    💵 10+ paid new subscribers

I even wrote an article sharing my lessons and few tips.

My first launch on Product Hunt was in my opinion a massive succes. I went in blindly and submitted a project I was working on.

    I short:
The Nifty Lottery allows makers to showcase their NFT projects to potential new users without the need of having a pre-existing audience.

The launch ranked #18 on the day rank and #184 on the week rank!

Launched my first Product Hunt post for SaaS Weekly a few weeks ago.

Not as impressive accolades as other comments here, but still learning from the launch:

    • #29 Day Rank
    • #144 Week Rank

The big takeaway for me was to get better at cross-promoting the upcoming launch and the actual launch on social channels (i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter).

Would love to learn how you or anyone else prepared and promoted their launch to drive engagement.

Just to underline how important preparation and an existing network really is:

I launched https://colorsforwebsites.com/ a few months ago - a little site project I built with a friend to scratch our own itch. No preparation whatsoever, just basically tried out ProductHunt. The massively impressive results can be seen here: https://www.producthunt.com/products/colorsforwebsites

    • posted at a random time, shared nowhere
    • 3 upvotes
    • a tiny traffic spike
    • a little bit of consistent traffic to this day

No idea if this is useful info for anyone ;)
