Product Hunt launch tips?
Hey Indie Hackers!
I just launched my first product on Product Hunt without any preparation. I would've liked to have taken more time to build a following beforehand, but current circumstances have forced my hand.
Any ideas on how I can salvage a premature launch, and make the most of the rest of the day?

Forcing a PH is never good.
Without following the guidelines you will end up wasting your time.
Might be able to get mods to remove the post, so you can post at a later date.
Yeah, lesson learnt. I think I'll see how it plays out, do what I can with some cross promotion elsewhere.
Do you know if there's an upvote threshold to get on the front page? I can't see my launch in todays list.
Not a special number but I like to launch at 00:01 san fran time and get 25+ upvotes.
I have had 15 upvotes and won't be on the first page even though someone with 3 upvotes all from the founders are on it.
PH has a weird algo.
